Matt serves as Global and Asia Pacific Chief Marketing Officer for Deloitte, responsible for driving growth across all business.

Previously, Matt spent over 25 years as one of Australia’s leading marketing, advertising, digital media and communications practitioners. He has worked for some of Australia’s leading advertising agencies as a Creative Director, Managing Director, CEO and Chairman. Internationally he served on the Global Creative Board and Global Management Boards of Young and Rubicam, one of the world’s largest international advertising networks.

Prior to his global role, Matt served as the Chief Marketing Officer of 

Deloitte in Australia and Asia-Pacific and was involved in driving the growth of the business through strategy, marketing, digital media, events, external and internal communications and major new business presentations.  He advised leading CEOs and Boards on marketing investment strategies and building customer relationships using digital, traditional and new media channels.

Matt has been voted one of Australia’s top 10 Creative Directors, one of Australia’s 50 Most Influential Media Executives by The Australian Financial Review, and has also twice won the Grand Prix at the Cannes International Advertising Awards.
