'I'm so excited about innovating and going crazy with the opportunities that technology can bring.'
When I was in Grade 5, I reluctantly joined a Coding Club at school. I never imagined that I would find something related to maths that I enjoyed so much! But after one night deciding to Google other areas of technology beyond basic coding, I decided this is something I would really like to explore. So I jumped into any technology opportunity that I found.
I'm Tamara, a 15-year-old technology addict. I particularly love ethical hacking and helping other people with information technology. I am a Code Like a Girl Ambassador and feel really strongly about female participation in technology.
In 2019 I was a Melbourne Knowledge Week Ambassador (the only one under 18). In 2019 I was given a Special Recognition Award at the Australian Women in Security Network/Chief Scientific Officer Awards. And I was also the AustCyber Week Champion at the 2019 Australian Cyber Conference.
Earlier this year I was the Key Note Speaker at Kids Securiday.
In my spare time, I do lots of different dance classes including ballet, jazz, contemporary and hip hop. I also teach hip hop and coding to younger children.
