Founder of KX Pilates, Aaron Smith, is an award-winning fitness innovator and entrepreneur. Based on the Japanese philosophy of kaizen (continuous improvement), KX Pilates is a dynamic workout that has transformed both fitness participants and the business at large.

Smith has built KX into Australia's largest pilates franchise with 69 studios across the country, one studio in Indonesia, and annual turnover of $25million for FY19.

In November 2018, Aaron stepped down as CEO to focus on innovation and international expansion.  

Since this move, KX Pilates has celebrated 10 years in business in February 2020, opened its first international franchise in Jakarta, Indonesia and with 68-studios across Australia, KX has plans to open 10 more studios in 2021.

As the founder of KX Pilates, Aaron has earned multiple awards and recognition including Australian Young Entrepreneur of the Year in the Fitness category at the Business News Australia Awards (2019), he was named in the top 3 of Australia?s Top 30 Franchise Executives (2019), and was one of the 2019 Top 10 Dynamic Entrepreneurs by Dynamic Business.
